​All litters are planned with the intention of keeping a puppy for ourselves. Always looking to the improvement of our lines, we do not breed simply too "supply demand".

Both, our puppies and prospective homes, are carefully screened to ensure the best possible match. We view each puppy placement as an extension of the Ashber Family. The relationship between breeder and owner is only the beginning when our puppy leaves our home. We are always here for the life of our puppies.

All breeding stock is CAER cleared for eyes. Hips must be OFA good or excellent or fair as well as breed specific genetic DNA health testing. We carefully select for health, conformation, temperament, work ethic, instinct and the versatility to be a family pet, show champion, herding or performance dog.

All pet quality puppies are sold on spay/neuter limited registration ONLY.

All breeding stock and litters are AKC/ASCA registered.

All pet puppies from every litter are priced the same regardless of color or sex. 

​Occasionally, we offer show and competition prospects to approved homes world wide, including select opportunities for junior handlers. 

​At Ashber, we believe Australian Shepherds should possess the ability, instinct, and ease to perform the tasks they were bred to do.  Every dog in our program exemplifies instinct, capability, and genuine work ethic.
